Role Overview:
As a Sales Engineer at Kognitos, you will act as the technical expert in the sales process, partnering with our sales team to demonstrate the value of our AI automation platform to prospects and clients. You’ll leverage your technical knowledge, and automation technologies, to design and present tailored solutions that address complex business challenges and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales to understand client requirements and design technical solutions.

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-value to prospective clients.

  • Client Focus - Translate complex technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Success, Product and Engineering, to tailor solutions for client needs.

  • Respond to technical RFPs, RFIs, and proposals as needed.

  • Conduct discovery sessions to assess client workflows, automation opportunities, and integration requirements.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Kognitos’ platform capabilities, integrations, and AI-driven automation solutions.

  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on customer requirements and potential product improvements.

  • Support post-sales handoff to ensure smooth implementation and customer success.

  • Recruit, Enable and Support Kognitos Channel Partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or in a pre-sales technical role, ideally in AI automation, SaaS, or enterprise software.

  • Strong technical background, with proficiency in Python and experience with APIs or automation platforms (Blue Prism, Mulesoft, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Experience managing multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Startup experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
