This role is within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. This role's primary function is to contribute to the operational success of the Sales Organization. This person will play a vital role in driving our sales process, ensuring smooth end-to-end execution of Partner Opportunities. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Assist Sales leadership in effectively leveraging sales data to maximize their business results and outcomes by creating and tracking Partner Opportunities. (ii) Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to execute sales activities/tasks/opportunities and generate reports that track progress of initiatives .(iii) Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, finance, and operations to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and propose process changes to maximize results. Requires 3-5 years sales/sales operations/account support relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the operational success of the Sales
  • Drive assigned sales leaders rhythm of the business (pipeline, forecast, and other key business reviews) and other key meetings by creating curated talking points, and providing insights with data to support conclusions.
  • Identify actionable targets from larger data sets and assign Partner Opportunities to Sellers that advance Sales Strategy and/or close gaps to stated targets.
  • Responsible for creating target lists with unit goals to support initiatives and tracking progress against those lists.
  • Have a deep understanding of the selling process and collaborate with other functions to develop new selling tools including customer facing marketing materials that make Sellers more successful executing Partner Opportunities. Introduce and implement new materials via the Opportunity Process and act as SME for Sellers.
  • Create sales-related documents such as sales contracts, proposals, presentations, and product information sheets.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track sales activities, and generate reports. Ensure that all Partner Opportunities and related Tasks are completed on time and in compliance with the SMAC process. Manage reporting and dashboards to prepare Executive level status updates.
  • Continuously evaluate and propose process improvements to Opportunity Process to enhance sales efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience. Provide documented feedback to Program Managers and Business Units regarding success rate of initiatives and collaborate on new iterations to deliver a higher close-win rate.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Marketing
  • 5+ years sales/account support experience
  • Demonstrated performance of leading/contributing to cross functional teams
  • Experience with standard sales operation reporting and how to leverage to effectively perform sales execution.
  • Understanding of standard sales reporting and processes including forecasting, pipeline health, and account planning.
  • Business level knowledge of all MS Office Applications
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and draw insights
  • CRM (Salesforce) experience with emphasis on opportunity management
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to leverage business intelligence tools and systems (Salesforce.com, SAP, etc...)
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Able to travel up to 20% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license


Preferred:

  • Sales/account experience in trade and building materials industry
  • Proficient in sales systems; mechanical aptitude
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or French-Canadian
