What does a successful Sales Executive II do at Fiserv?

A successful Sales Executive II at Fiserv is responsible for driving growth and expanding market share through strategic and value-driven sales activities with existing and prospective clients. This sales role targets potential leads within the Card Services arena and employs competitive sales tactics to frame client opportunities effectively. With deep financial knowledge, the Sales Executive II crafts deals and presents compelling Fiserv solutions to influence client decisions and achieve sales targets.

What you will do:

  • Drive strategies and tactical plans to identify and secure new Fiserv clients within the designated territory.
  • Initiate and close net new business to drive profitable revenue for Fiserv Card Services.
  • Manage the sales process from lead qualification to business closure, ensuring rapid and effective movement through all stages.
  • Develop and maintain high-level executive contacts to expand account coverage and create demand for Fiserv solutions.
  • Independently craft and execute selling strategies for assigned accounts, including influencing key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Propose new value-add solutions to clients, demonstrating how Fiserv’s offerings address business issues and drive improvement.
  • Build networks within the industry to stay current on trends and articulate Fiserv’s positioning relative to competitors.
  • Ensure client expectations are managed appropriately, fostering mutual satisfaction between the client and Fiserv, while maintaining accurate sales pipeline forecasting in the eCRM system and practicing the Fiserv Way of Selling.

What you will need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience in solution sales within Financial Services and Payments industries.
  • Proven experience selling complex solutions to large financial institutions.
  • Experience working within a large matrix organization offering hundreds of products/services.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in developing strategic sales approaches and account plans.
  • Experience in leveraging executive contacts for expanded account coverage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting and presenting business solutions.
  • Experience in managing client expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Experience in building and utilizing internal/external industry networks.

Important information about this role:

  • Travel will be required up to 50% of the time.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.

Salary Range

$59,500.00 - $126,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For commission eligible employees, the successful candidate is eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the terms of the applicable Fiserv Sales Compensation Plan.
