Job Description SummaryReporting hierarchically to Southeast Asia Sales Leader. The Sales Manager for Grid Automation in Philippines is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and developing sales strategies in coordination with local channel partners, the growth team, tendering and operations teams for overall GA portfolio.
The candidate will be responsible for executing the country commercial operating plan and to drive margin and top-line growth while ensuring the strict application of GEV’s Ethic, Compliance, and processes. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Own and accountable for GA commercial operating plan.
  • Drive opportunities pipeline, orders and profitability of GA business
  • Operationally work to meet monthly and quarterly KPI (orders, convertible orders, margins, past dues).
  • Timely and accurately provision of business forecast and effectively management of CRM system (SPEAK).
  • Establish and maintain customer relationship inclusive of C-level and build accountability
  • Provide sales leadership to co-ordinate, support and motivate Independent Third Parties (Channel Partners) in achieving its annual sales target. Review and deploy growth initiatives to increase channels effectiveness.
  • Conduct/co-ordinate product training and application support to channel partners, system integrators, consultants and end users.
  • Pro-active collaboration with segment growth leaders to drive strategic business growth plan and activities. Jointly responsible with segment leaders on strategizing and deployment of growth actions to achieve expected outcome.
  • Lead strategic commercial plans to pursue key deals. Proactively influence customer business decisions using optimized solutions to drive results.
  • Close collaboration with team during ITO stages of proposal, bidding and negotiation; and finally, leading team to close deals.
  • Work closely with other GE Vernova business line in leveraging customer relationship and sales leads.
  • Understand market dynamics, trends and competition. Provide timely feedback as guidance to product development, promotion, price and go-to market strategies.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing with successful track record in relevant field.
  • Good knowledge in electrical protection & control, substation automation system, online monitoring & diagnostics solutions, and communication devices.
  • Good exposure to energy, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, and industrial markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationships/team building. Must be a team player.
  • Customer orientated and had a growth mindset.
  • Proactive work style, creativity, energetic, self-motivator who keeps current with industry trends and knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills.
  • Unyielding commitment to integrity.
