Vitamix is seeking a Sales Manager, Non-Commercial who will drive strategic growth, market penetration, and long-term profitability across key non-commercial verticals, including Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Contract Integrators. This role is directly responsible for leading sales strategies for high profile enterprise accounts while collaborating closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to expand the brand’s presence in non-commercial foodservice and commercial integration channels.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive annual domestic sales plans and go-to-market strategies to penetrate target accounts and drive non-commercial vertical channel growth.
  • Achieve revenue, margin, and market-share targets in alignment with corporate objectives for sales, profitability, and organizational growth.
  • Operate sales functions within established corporate policies and procedures, proactively recommending strategic policy enhancements to capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
  • Manage, protect, and expand existing business within designated enterprise accounts (including Aramark, Delaware North, Sodexo, Mariott, and Compass Group).
  • Conduct consistent, high-impact sales and support engagements across account headquarters, purchasing offices, and regional locations.
  • Build deep, multi-level relationships across client organizations, embedding into key decision-making, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Partner closely with RSMs to ensure deep product penetration and seamless pull-through sales at the field level.
  • Represent the organization at major industry trade shows, executive client meetings, corporate functions, and industry outings to drive lead generation and brand authority.
  • Design and deliver customized product and sales training programs tailored to the operational requirements of assigned enterprise accounts.
  • Provide continuous product education and enablement for key client stakeholders and internal/external satellite sales team members

 

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

7 years of progress, high-performing B2B sales and business development experience in commercial equipment, foodservice, or contract integration channels

3-4 years of direct experience managing top-tier national or key enterprise accounts (e.g., Aramark, Sodexo, Compass Group, Delaware North, Marriott)

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Skilled in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics platforms
  • Proven track record in the commercial food service, hospitality, or non-commercial institutional sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive annual sales plans, forecast revenue, and meet/exceed profitability targets
  • Deep understanding of non-commercial food service procurement processes, group purchasing organizations, and contract management
  • Strong executive presence with a track record of cultivating multi-level relationships across key decision-makers, purchasing committees, and operational leadership
  • Proven ability to design and facilitate engaging product and technical equipment training programs for both corporate clients and distributor sales reps
  • Strong cross functional collaboration skills to partner effectively with RSMs, field reps, and internal corporate teams

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day, with walking and standing required frequently
  • Visual acuity is required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading documents, reports, and emails
  • Repetitive hand movements for tasks like typing or assembly

 

Amount of Travel Required: Up to 50% travel requried

Work Arrangement: Hybrid
