Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Sales Representative, Inside Sales New Business will be responsible for gaining new business within an assigned territory. This will involve identifying leads, proactively prospecting for small and medium-sized business, and generating profitable sales within the assigned territory. Success is measured by consistently exceeding weekly and monthly sales goals through effective lead generation, cold calling campaigns and referrals.

  • Acquire new, profitable commercial business to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify leads through research, cold calling, and lead source generation.
  • Manage prospects throughout the sales cycle, nurturing relationships and converting leads into new customers.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM daily, scheduling and documenting all sales activities.
  • Develop detailed customer profiles to facilitate effective sales conversations.
  • Negotiate and close business by effectively communicating LRS’s unique value proposition and overcoming objections.
  • Manage post-sale administrative tasks to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitor activities to anticipate customer needs.
  • Meet regularly with the Sales Leader to review weekly activity and opportunities.
  • Develop in-depth industry and company knowledge to achieve targeted revenue goals and contribute to overall company objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in a B2B sales role or a relevant field.
  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Good understanding of the waste and recycling industry.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platform.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and results oriented.

Pay Range

$24.00 to $26.45/hour
