Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build, improve, and maintain channel sales and inventory data, reporting, and dashboards that showcase revenue KPIs and data trends, highlighting opportunities and risks to revenue, gross margin, sell-through, and accessory attachment

  • Analyze complex data requests derived from multiple data sources including SAP, Salesforce.com, and Databricks in support of organizational goals and strategy for internal customers

  • Support go-to-market strategy and annual planning by sizing growth opportunities, analyzing market and share trends and building the fact base behind business cases and prioritization decisions

  • Advise Revenue organization on data-based insights from account plans, partner and sales goals, pipeline, and quote reporting; Deploy Sales Motions based on these findings to turn insights into results

  • Serve as the connective tissue between Forecast Modeling and Insights/Storytelling, feeding variance findings back into model and narrative refinement

  • Support channel operations by governing changes to partner and customer master data, administering channel programs and helping maintain sales coverage and territory definitions

  • Support sales & partner enablement by maintaining playbooks, tools, training content and CRM adoption reporting so the field can sell the complete solution

  • Create best practices for insight discovery by standardizing and recommending metrics and dashboards to improve reporting and adoption across internal sales tools including Power BI and Salesforce.com

  • Translate analysis into clear written and verbal recommendations for Revenue leaders, simplifying difficult concepts for non-technical audiences

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering)

  • 0-1 year of experience in sales, sales operations, business analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis or similar functions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Statistical accuracy and ability to work with numbers is required

  • Ability to integrate large data sets from multiple sources and identify what additional information is needed to understand impact

  • Ability to create models and analysis tools that are dynamic, accurate and easy to understand

  • Ability to interpret and articulate insightful conclusions and effectively communicate them to stakeholders

  • Simplifies difficult concepts for non-technical users

  • Probes beyond the stated situation to identify underlying issues and consider possible alternatives

  • Data visualization experience with Power BI or Tableau

  • Ability to learn new software, BI tools and processes quickly

  • Demonstrated bias to action, taking initiative to drive projects to completion with limited direction

  • Ability to coordinate a variety of projects across multiple departments and to also work independently

  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured role and iterate with rigorous process improvements

  • Less than 5 % travel required within North America

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in business analytics, business intelligence, sales operations, financial analysis, consulting or similar functions. Internship and co-op experience will be considered.

  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce.com

  • Experience with SQL, Python, R or other tools for working with large data sets

  • Experience with syndicated data such as Circana, IRI or Nielsen

  • Two-step distribution, dealer, professional channel or Consumer/Durable Goods experience; experience with IoT products

The pay range for this position is $76,600.00 - $123,775.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
