Who You Are:

PartySlate seeks a highly-motivated individual to join the rapidly-growing Account Executive team. We are now in 7 markets with aggressive growth plans and need to expand our Account Executive team.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling memberships to leading event professionals and venues, as we continue our rapid expansion.

Prior experience with marketplace selling is strongly preferred, as well as someone who is driven to surpass goals while delivering a great experience to prospects, clients and coworkers.

We need someone who is willing to help build something from the ground up, be proactive and accountable with new market expansion, and who excels in dynamic environments.

Success Is Measured By:

  • Hitting and exceeding monthly sales goals

  • Consistently staying ahead of weekly activity metrics

  • Attending In Market Networking Events

  • Overcoming obstacles and objections with professionalism, all in a team-focused environment.

The Account Executive will coordinate with the Customer Success team to on-board our new members and ensure success of the new client with their membership.

Skills Needed:

  • Minimum 2-4 years sales experience

  • Marketplace Sales and/or Event Sales experience is strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to establish relationships through cold outreach

  • Proven track record to close deals through in-person and over the phone meetings

  • Excellent understanding of sales process, forecasting and pipeline management

  • Ability to confidently communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization

  • Highly organized, self starter, and self motivator

  • Willingness to learn and perfect new skills

Location

Our Chicago office where we were founded is in between The Merchandise Mart and East Bank Club. We have a flexible hybrid work environment and have employees located all over the country.
