Compensation Data

This role pays in the range of $119K to $182K per year and includes a bonus. Compensation will be determined by experience and qualifications. 

Job Summary



The Customer Success Team
As the connection between the client and company, the Customer Success team serves as both the voice of the customer and the face of Arity. Customer Success is — you guessed it — a customer-centric team working daily to develop shared goals through practical solutions, which offer real results. Collaborating daily with sales, engineering, product, and business strategy teams, Customer Success manages diverse relationships with grace and skill. They’re empowered to flex their creativity when solving problems, onboarding clients, and gathering customer feedback to ensure continued satisfaction. Solution Architect
The Solution Architect will have expertise and experience in architecting and overseeing delivery of complex technical solutions for Arity’s strategic customers and serves as the technical subject matter expert bridging technical complexities with business functions. The mission is to ensure that Arity’s technical solutions contribute to the forward motion for Customer business goals, leverage business transformation initiatives, and create space for growth and innovation. The Solution architect will identify, lead and manage a set of industry focused solution opportunities with a variety of Customers. This requires forming relationships through Customer engagement and with key stakeholders across the Arity organization. This role plays a crucial part in driving the discovery, ideation, and solution architecture with laser focus on customer business outcomes from deploying Arity solutions and services. This role will also be involved in collaborating with the Sales team during sales pursuits and scoping proposals.


Job Responsibilities



Customers and Partners

  • Gathers customer/partner insights from a broad range of stakeholders as well as the main business sponsor to shape and form both the definition and ongoing execution of projects. Anticipates industry and technology trends. Leverages insights to influence long-term technology strategy and influences others to focus and adapt business models, plans, and solutions to key insights.
  • Engages with customer, partner and Arity stakeholders to socialize both the technical solution and the architected approach to adapt any changes that are needed to the business solution. Communicates changes across key stakeholders where costs may be incurred or change for the Customer and works with the appropriate team members to convey.
  • Uses broad patterns of feedback to develop strategic and actionable insights and presents a compelling business case to Sales, Customer Success and Product that influences product roadmaps and decision making. 
  • Uses evidence-based approach to represent the customer and/or partner as a customer advocate and share insights with Product Engineering teams and the business with a view to improving Arity’s technologies, products, services, and offerings such that they can better meet customer/partner needs across territories. 
  • Mentors and collaborates with Arity team members and stakeholders to share learnings.



Architectural, Design, Deployment and Support

  • Leverages a structured approach to architecture projects using existing Agile methodologies that leverage existing reference architecture and established architectural styles. Proposes and develops new solutions to scale across multiple customers/partners. Builds and maintains an architecture description document, an architecture decisions log, and a requirements/constraints traceability matrix to ensure the rationale for the business solution's Architecture is known and understood.
  • Defines and documents the architecture through an architecture description document, an architecture decisions log, and a requirements traceability matrix to communicate the value proposition of the business solution alongside the approach. Leads complex cost-based and technology-based discussions to explain the architecture in terms of its build, deployment, and ongoing operational use to determine feasibility. Considers ROI and business value as a part of the viable solution to be leveraged over a certain period of time.

  • Works with the Customer Success Manager and Project Leaders to identify constraints and multi Customer dependencies and communicate across stakeholders at the Customer account and within Arity. 
  • Drives agreement using architectural best practices, restrictions and dependencies and documents accordingly considering risks, costs and reward. Provides technical credibility by communicating and documenting constraints and sound technical acumen. Provides thought leadership and uses a cohesive build methodology with an agreed release schedule and timeline so the solution can be transitioned to live operations, leveraging solution expertise. 
  • Anticipates and identifies technical scenarios that could slow or impede completion of delivery both in the sales and customer onboarding cycles. Assist the support team with troubleshooting and resolving production issues where needed. Drives accountability in product and engineering based on product and/or solution needs.
  • Collaborates with the Sales and Account teams to identify architectural and technical risk leading discussions with the appropriate stakeholders to arrive at mitigation or resolution strategies. 
  • Provides support to production support teams where architectural and technical guidance and review needed. 



Practice Development 

  • Creates new or enhances improvements to existing intellectual property. Anticipates and addresses organization- and industry-wide gaps, patterns, and needs to drive changes. Identifies which ideas should be culled, with consideration for scale across customers. Drives the re-use of intellectual property and recommends practices in both pre-sales and delivery. 
  • Develops a network of internal and external relationships with senior-level decision makers at accounts and partners to build influence in addressing problems and/or blockers.
  • Serves as an advisor to key accounts and internal stakeholders while staying up to date on Arity products and services and technical industry offerings. Provides guidance and mentorship where needed and appropriate.
  • Leads adoption by digging into competitive products, understanding solutions and improving technical offerings at Arity. Remains abreast of marketing offerings and leverages best practices by integrating these into Arity. 
     

Job Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain OR equivalent experience.
  • Cloud computing, API, mobile platform architecture preferably with iOS and Android, data architect with XMP, Hadoop, Python.
  • Technical or Professional Certification in domain
  • Specialty skills including but not limited too - Enterprise Architecture, IT Portfolio Lifecycle Optimization, Organizational Design and Change Management, and IT governance
  • Define and lead repeatable ideation steps with customers to explore art of the possible through industry specific, cross industry business solutions/patterns and technology components, and demonstrating techniques such as Design Thinking and Inclusive Design
  • Lead customer ideation workshops to accelerate adoption of Arity solutions and services resulting in the right proposal for Customer impact and success 
  • Solid understanding and experience with the implementation/adoption of key solutions and services such as Cloud, AWS, Business Analytics, Devices and Mobility
  • Experience in identifying and successfully executing on digital disruptions including quantified business outcomes
  • Consistent track record of delivering business value from IT at an executive level, bringing the benefits of technology to solve business issues while also leading costs, risk, and resources
  • Ability to understand the needs of nontechnical customers, to conceptualize, launch and deliver technology enabled business change projects 
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate resources virtually as well as onsite
  • Executive level social, verbal, written and presentation skills, good listener, ability to provide a trusted voice at the decision-making table and be an advocate of Arity’s vision and value proposition
