Job Description

The COVID-19 outbreak has certainly changed the way everyone lives and works, and we’re no exception. Our first priority is the health and safety of our associates and the communities we operate in. To keep us all as safe as possible, we’ve made some adjustments to our recruiting process. For the time being, interviews and assessments will be done virtually, and we’re set up for remote onboarding. We have regular video meetings, so you can feel like part of the team right from the start.

We’ll be back in our offices once it’s safe to return. In the meantime, you can join us from your home office knowing we have a solid, global infrastructure and remote work capabilities already in place.

About the job

Associate Client Managers are an integral part of the Customer Value team and assist in data acquisition using our OmniShopper Panel solutions and delivering insights that speak to the current and future status of our Consumer Packaged Goods clients. At NielsenIQ, Associate Client Managers are known for understanding the client’s complex questions and delivering solutions that will help impact our clients’ business on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall Client Health Objectives and drive adoption and increased usage of our Consumer Data assets and tools 

  • Manage delivery of Consumer and OmniShopper Insights and Analysis to answer specific client questions 

  • Work closely with our Sales and Retail Intelligence colleagues to support Client Renewals and growth

  • Support ongoing client education of Client with regard to new products and services

  • Continually drive efficiency refining and documenting processes as needed

  • Proven Analytic Skills: Ability to build concise stories, derive insights and tell the story with creative visualizations

  • Skilled & polished communicator, including client presentations

  • Able to synthesize data, simplify findings and translate data into actionable insights to solve client business issues

  • Able to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations & resolve client issues quickly

  • Solid project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams

  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes

About you

You are a storyteller and use insights to paint a picture of a current brand or marketplace situation. You enjoy working on a team and have a knack for client service. Consumer Insights is your passion and while you have been working in the industry for some time, you are looking to further your knowledge of Nielsen solutions and data sets. Curiosity, communication, and critical thinking drive your work--whether you got your start in sales, consulting, analytics or consumer goods. Now you’re ready for what’s next.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 3-5 years’ experience ideally in Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Consulting, IT, Analytics

  • Strong analytical aptitude

  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office software as well as Google’s G Suite

  • Experience working with consumer behavior/panel insights

  • Familiarity with Nielsen or competitive data assets and tools is a plus
