Associate Regional Sales Director, Retirement and Workplace Solutions
Morningstar Investment Management seeks a motivated Associate Regional Sales Director to drive asset growth in our Retirement Manager and Managed Account offerings through zoom, webinar/digital workshops, phone and on-site participant meetings. As an Associate Regional Sales Director, you will develop productive relationships across our client base, convey our key selling points, and overcome objections from plan sponsors, advisors and plan participants. In addition, the Associate Regional Sales Director will lead and assist with RFP/RFI related inquiries around Managed Accounts. This position is based in Chicago.
Responsibility:
+ Build and maintain strong plan sponsor relationships by working with plan sponsors directly or indirectly through retirement plan provider relationships.
+ Conduct one-on-one meetings regularly with plan participants that have access to our services. These will come in the format of Zoom, webinar/digital workshops, phone and on-site meetings.
+ Develop a deep understanding of Morningstar Investment Management’s human capital methodology, wealth forecasting engine, and portfolio construction process
+ Develop and facilitate presentations that support the business's strategic B2C marketing messages and make a compelling case for introducing our services to a relationship.
+ Identify appropriate opportunities for client relationship expansion and promotion of the managed account service.
+ Monitor and provide feedback on client and competitive activities in the marketplace.
Requirements:
+ 1-3 years of customer-facing sales experience within a(n) investment management/defined contribution/financial service environment.
+ Team-oriented professional with strong group presentation skills
+ Superior written and oral communication skills.
+ Ambitious self-starter with the ability to generate strategic focus and follow through.
+ Advanced technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
+ A bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement; Series 65/AIF/CIMA/CFP designations highly desirable.
+Approximately 50% of your time will be spent on travel, when travel resumes.
