Home Chef is seeking an experienced business development professional to build relationships that will drive our continued growth.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Marketing Partnerships will identify partnership opportunities and structure relationships that elevate our brand while helping to drive new customer acquisition. S/he will be responsible for all aspects of our partnership activities including identifying potential partners, negotiating commercial agreements and working with cross-functional internal teams to execute on opportunities.
This role is based in Chicago, IL, with limited travel.
Responsibilites
- Drive partnership strategy; build business development roadmap and own partnership development lifecycle from idea to launch
- Identify and build relationships with companies with which Home Chef can partner to acquire customers, build brand awareness, and improve its product offering
- Lead the business development team to achieve quarterly initiatives
- Work with our Legal team to negotiate contracts
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to quantify partnership integration requirements and assess cost/benefit of opportunities
Your Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive business development experience, preferably in a startup or food-related business
- A proven track record in the sales development cycle; strong prospecting, cold calling, developing leads, needs analysis, negotiating and closing skills
- A desire to independently solve business challenges with customized solutions
- Strong executive presence, both over the phone and in person
- Advanced digital marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics or related fieldMBA a plus
