TransUnion (TU) is harnessing the power of our data to create a suite of Marketing Solutions that enable our customers to improve the performance of their marketing, particularly within digital marketing. As part of the Financial Services Sales team, you will partner with Sales VPs to sell TU Marketing Solutions to key enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for hitting revenue targets by building an account development plan and working with your VPs to craft an account strategy to generate new Marketing Solutions revenue. To be successful in this role, you will be a true strategic thinker who can navigate large complex organizations, develop relationships with the right stakeholders and drive revenue. Your knowledge of how data can be leveraged for targeting in online addressable media, combined with your communication skills will shape how new and existing business grow.
What You'll BringMinimum of 5 years selling online advertising, data or technology solutions e.g. ad targeting products, data, CRM, DSP and DMP platforms, analytics platforms or related online advertising enabling products or services.
Knowledgeable in online media, including display, social media, audience targeting, programmatic buying, underlying technologies and the entire ad tech ecosystem.
Strong track record of exceeding / meeting revenue targets selling online advertising, data or technology solutions.
Major account experience in a matrix environment with expertise in navigating large complex organizations, identifying buyers, influencers, and closing business, preferably within Financial Services.
Proven client engagement skills including prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating and closing business.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Articulate, persuasive and engaging communication style. Ability to be extremely persistent in a pleasant fashion.
We’d Love to See:
A general understanding of the regulatory requirements for using credit data in Financial Services marketing a big plus.
Experience in complex contract/legal negotiations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
Impact You'll MakeProspect, initiate, develop, and close sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
Responsible for the sales process from discovery, proposal, through close phases of the sales process.
Identify and develop relationships with senior level marketing executives responsible for large digital marketing budgets. E.g. CMOs, digital marketing leads and media heads at advertisers.
Serve as the liaison between Sales and the Marketing Solutions teams - Product and Engineering, Market Development, Analytics and Operations – to navigate opportunities and execute on initiatives.
Manage a pipeline (in Salesforce) of opportunities and report progress to both the Sales and Marketing Solutions Market Development team.
Provide market feedback and voice of customer to influence product strategy and roadmap to best support market needs.
Represent TransUnion at relevant industry trade shows and conferences as deemed necessary.
Maintain current knowledge of Financial Services LOB strategies in an effort to identify opportunities for Marketing Solutions that complement the various strategies.
Manage transition plan to account management team when delivery of initial sale is complete.
