RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create business strategies to successfully achieve client business goals
    • Act as the Account Director with consumer-centric clients in the broader Chicago market as a part of the Midwest Business Unit
    • Align with EPAM multidisciplinary teams to co-develop / support account plans and strategies for delivery, growth, and client satisfaction
    • Serve as the engagement architect, responsible for account strategies, and work directly with client's product, marketing, and/or IT teams to position the engagement and EPAM for success
    • Understand the intersection between technology, customers, and business and serve as trusted advisor that brings technology enabled solutions to drive leading Business / Digital Transformation strategies
    • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects clients' business and initiatives
  • Develop and oversee delivery approaches
    • Work closely with delivery organization to ensure successful execution with the help of an integrated multidisciplinary team model
    • Responsible for shaping solutions and properly scoping / pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase
  • Build successful relationships
    • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio
    • Develop effective relationships with key internal executives, Business Unit heads, Solution SME's, and Sales and Delivery Leaders
    • Serve as the trusted advisor; partner with clients to help craft their product vision and roadmaps and create compelling customer value propositions and strategies that are enabled through our global deliver model
    • Drive account revenue within the client / account portfolio as well as accelerate opportunities to influence and sell-in end-to-end EPAM services
    • Align with EPAM's goals and objectives, support company financial goals by achieving revenue and profit targets
    • Drive the sales / pre-sales activities by qualifying opportunities, and acting as the lead of pursuit team responsible for creating the proposals and presentations, and manage the opportunities through the sales cycle


REQUIREMENTS

  • Entrepreneurial by nature and have experience working in environments where you will be accountable and drive decisions
  • Consulting, engagement or delivery management background and a track record of success helping consumer-centric clients (Retail, CPG, Travel & Transportation as examples) achieve their digital transformation goals
  • Experience selling full life-cycle software development (Consulting, Development, Testing, Support) to clients in the Midwest area from a base in the Chicago area
  • Thorough understanding of IT principles and practices including the concepts and key messages behind Agile and Digital Services
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated track record of developing and growing client relationships and leading teams delivering end-to-end solutions
  • Strong problem solving and creative thinking abilities
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to the team
  • Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across large scale accounts and account portfolios
  • Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements, at times under high stress circumstances, to successful completion
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
