Ensono’s Hyperscale Cloud (HSC) team is a practice area within Ensono focused entirely on the delivery, architecture, and automation required to run webscale, mission-critical applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

As the Finance and Business Operation Director, you will partner with the leadership, finance, sales, product and engineering teams to drive revenue, develop and execute sales strategy and manage processes to drive productivity. You will be the owner of the financial budget and drivers of the business. You will be a critical member of the leadership team. Key deliverables include creating and tracking of the financial plan, managing costs, designing and implementing business processes, and leading special projects that provide a strategic view of our business and help to drive success.

Job Responsibilities

·       Develop and own business budgeting and forecasting of revenue, operational costs, capital costs and resources with an understanding of key financial drivers

·       Develop and maintain KPI’s, dashboards, and monthly reporting packs to measure business performance

·       Business “end-to-end” tracking - sales opportunity through to cash collection Ownership of pricing models – working closely with Product and Solution Architecture teams

·       Management of Public Cloud headcount budget Weekly scorecard reports

·       Assist with building and tracking operational discipline within the business unit as it grows it’s consulting / project based revenue stream (utilization, hourly rate tracking, etc.)

·       Work closely with the Ensono finance teams to ensure integrity of Public Cloud budgets, forecasts and accounting

·       Go-to person for the Public Cloud GM

·       Month-end close processes – in particular revenue recognition and cost allocations; detailed review and understanding of transactions within the Azure and AWS cost centers to ensure completeness and accuracy

·       Hold business leaders accountable for their expenses by tracking and managing on a monthly basis

·       Extract business insights from data and translate into actionable business recommendations that drive sales growth and manage margins – Act as a change agent for the GM

·       Work directly with the product organization in ensuring costing and pricing models align with overall corporate goals

·       Partner with sales leadership to define and execute short and long-term strategy to increase sales performance

·       Present monthly business results and overall reporting in MBR and QBR meetings

·       Own monthly dashboard rollup creation and distribution

·       Drive framework and ongoing updates in developing the strategic business plan

·       Contribute to the development of best practices for the company

·       Interface with business leaders, product development, human resources, finance, pricing, and sales and marketing team across the global organization

 

Requirements

·       Four-year college degree from accredited institution; MBA or CPA preferred

·       Experience working with technology companies or cloud/managed services preferred

·       10+ years of relevant business leadership and finance experience

·       Strong problem solving and analytic skill

·       Ability to make thoughtful decisions based on analysis in timely manner

·       Has broad business acumen

·       Strong project management skills

·       Systems champion – Workday, SFDC etc
