Department OverviewThe Inside Sales Coach role will provide specialized training for the inside sales team and have the opportunity to create and implement a quality assurance program for the team. Your training and coaching will help the employees of the Inside Sales organization improve their sales skills to boost company performance.
Job Description
Typical job duties involve identifying areas of improvement through side by side coaching sessions, developing training programs, onboarding new salespeople, leading training activities, and providing help for specific performance-related issues.
The Sales Coach is responsible for augmenting and reinforcing the coaching and direction given by the Sales Managers. The Sales Coach often evaluates employee performance before and after various training programs. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and extensive sales or customer service experience.
Motivate team to find and sustain their highest level of energy and action over the long term
Help sellers choose their greatest impact activities, and avoid time wasters and distractions
Advise team as appropriate to maximize immediate sales wins.
Develop team knowledge, skills, and attributes to fundamentally improve performance
Create and Implement a customized Inside Sales QA program and strategy to optimize insides sales performance which will ensure quality execution
Augment Sales Manager coaching by helping sellers define goals and strategies that will tap into their purpose and lead to maximized sales energy, focus, and engagement.
Help sellers develop habits that will allow them to use their time most effectively.
Assess sellers’ need for skill, knowledge, and attribute development and encourage seller ownership of their own development potential.
Understand the underlying motivators of each individual seller and take action to maximize it.
Create a consistent measurement for associate adherence to the Salesway methodology.
Identify any processes that frustrate or alienate prospects/customers
Maintain the consistency of customer interactions across various channels (phone, website, email etc.)
Identifying business trends in order to shape and improve processes
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of experience in sales OR in a training role or as part of a learning organization
