Manager, Carrier Sales

What you will be doing:
As the Manager of Carrier Sales, you are responsible for leading and developing a team of Carrier Sales Representatives. You ensure the growth and development of carrier accounts through strategic decision making and upholding MoLo's commitment to service. You are expected to collaborate with leaders across the company including Business Development, Account Management, Customer Operations, and Pricing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily focus on team development through one-on-ones, specialized training, ensure level specific KPI development by rep, and workflow execution
- Freight execution and strategy: develop market knowledge, approval effectiveness, negotiation, and uphold our commitment to service
- Carrier growth and strategy: develop lane strategy, network execution, data integrity for carrier profiles, and work with reps to develop new carriers as well as grow existing carrier relationships
- Communicate cross departmentally and create collaboration with customer sales and operations
- Systems and process fluency: load board management, data management, TMS navigation, macropoint and geotracking, RMIS, and Power BI
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- 1 year of carrier sales experience
- Deep understanding of the freight market
- Possess strong sales skills, persuasive abilities, and organizational skills
- Ability to align growth initiatives with industry leading service levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both writen and verbal
- Ability to coach, develop, and lead others
