What You'll Bring
BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or equivalent required
5-7 years of marketing experience. B2B, agency or online marketing experience preferred
Proficiency in marketing strategy, campaign planning and execution, events, promotions, and budgeting
Exceptional communication and writing skills, including strong presentation skills
Creativity, flexibility and initiative with the ability to accept delegated responsibility, work independently and collaborate in group settings
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with acute attention to detail
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
Impact You'll Make
The Marketing Account Executive will support TransUnion’s Diversified Markets business. This position is responsible for end-to-end marketing for multiple industry segments within the Diversified Markets business such as retail, e-commerce, communications and gaming, among others. You will consult and support TransUnion’s Diversified Markets leadership and drive the strategy, planning and execution of marketing programs and performance-driven demand generation campaigns. This role identifies B2B marketing communication needs, executes creative/positioning strategies, drives incremental pipeline growth through marketing-influenced revenue, manages the marketing budget, and reports performance metrics to key stakeholders.
The ability to collaborate in both a vertical and company matrix is critical. Expertise in full-funnel acquisition and nurture campaigns using a marketing automation platform (i.e., Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce), as well as experience in cross-channel marketing strategies is needed. Agile marketing experience is a plus. Please see below for specific details.
How You'll Contribute
Provide consultative support and develop strong relationships with management, business stakeholders and other global marketing functions.
Establish annual marketing plan(s) for segments within Diversified Markets that is in line with marketing budgets, global business objectives and segment priorities and growth.
Deliver quarterly PI planning epics, features and user stories and refine as needed.
Partner and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver marketing and business strategies, messaging, positioning, spend and measurable outcomes to drive campaign assets and successful program execution.
Initiate and develop multi-channel, integrated B2B marketing campaigns that include thought leadership initiatives, industry research, advertising, solutions collateral, email and direct marketing, webinars, trade shows, proprietary events, public relations, social media, etc.
Serve as the marketing lead and main point of contact with Diversified Markets’ business leaders. You are the project owner. This includes conceptualization, initiation, creative brief development, pre-campaign process, content and creative alignment, and campaign execution with assigned resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with internal resources and external vendors to ensure compliance to brand standards. Review collateral and campaign assets to ensure quality and consistency and manage the internal approval process.
Work closely with business leadership to create the annual marketing budget, monitor expense, and recommend changes to marketing activity based on performance goals and budget.
Analyze marketing program performance including responses, leads and ROI working with the marketing analytics team. Communicate results to the business unit consistently for continuous improvement.
Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to, updating collateral, assisting with tradeshow events and coordinating external advertising.
