Responsibilities

The Account Manager’s primary role is to support the efforts of HAVI Packaging Service Line resources with our largest customer in the United States. The role includes frequent engagement and coordination with customers: working programs, leading initiatives, and managing the engagement of Packaging subject matter experts in support of deliverables.

 

The Account Manager plays a critical internal role managing the north American measures process, securing resources, and directing activities to support the key needs of the account, ensuring the role and value of HAVI are clearly communicated.  Additional responsibilities: 4. Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Clearly communicate our value proposition through internal teams and directly to the customer
  • Support the account’s business needs and coordinate delivery of resources internally to address those needs
  • Mitigate account issues and develop account opportunities
  • Execute the account plan and support growth of existing businesses
  • Coordinate/align with competencies to deliver proactive account support
  • Identify and resolve barriers that prohibit HAVI from optimally delivering the agreed-upon services
  • Ensure effective internal communication and alignment with relevant customer stakeholders and key departments
  • Collect and disseminate appropriate account intelligence to various HAVI stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a customer facing, account management role
  • Packaging experience required
  • Advanced management skills
  • Purchasing/logistics/supply chain experience
  • Understanding of/competencies within the quick-service restaurant/food service packaging space a bonus
  • Proven record of accomplishment of managing through influence
  • Strong relationship skills
  • Proven experience in leading, managing and motivating without reporting authority
  • A self-motivated individual combined with a result driven approach and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Effective communication across all levels of stakeholders
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure within an international and multicultural working environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%
