About The Role

G2 is looking for a Partner Development Manager (PDM) who will be responsible for managing G2’s “integration pipeline” as we build and scale G2’s Integration Partner Network. This person should have strong business development skills and be passionate about telling G2’s story and value proposition to new, potential partners. The PDM will be the cross-functional stakeholder for what integrations G2 builds next and will be responsible for prioritizing, scoping and managing each partner through its launch. Once an integration is launched, it is transitioned to a G2 Partner Success Manager for ongoing management. Both the PDM and PSM will partner on metrics like activation, adoption and overall G2 retention influenced by the integration ecosystem.

The Partner Development Manager must be an excellent cross-functional partner to Product, Sales and Marketing. We know this is no small task, but we suspect the ideal candidate will be excited to dive right in and take charge! Key activities include:

  • Partner Relations: Build strong and authentic relationships with (potential) G2 integration partners. Be multi-threaded throughout these accounts to ensure on-time commitments and launches
  • Industry Expertise: You will be seen as the internal expert on all things integrations and partners. The PDM should be in the know on industry trends and shifts, and be thinking about G2 can be a leader and pioneer for these shifts
  • Strategic Planning: As the market expert, we want our PDM to set future direction for the G2 Integration strategy, incremental partners and expectations per partner
  • Daily Execution: Manage all cross-functional work streams associated to scoping, prioritizing and communication with new partners
  • Documentation: Document and share all relevant integration and adoption information to partners, sales and G2 leadership
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all internal stakeholders on project prioritization and ensure programs have the right resources allocated from multiple teams and disciplines.

In This Role, You Will: 

  • Manage G2’s “integration pipeline” 
  • Use inbound and outbound measures to engage with G2’s target partner list
  • Build data-driven business cases for what integrations G2 should build next, and communicate those to G2 Product & Leadership
  • Own/escalate any issues preventing successful launches or ongoing Partner strategies.
  • Develop functional & light-technical expertise with G2’s API solutions and maintain knowledge as features/capabilities continue to evolve and new/updated products are rolled out over time.
  • Work cross-functionally to help plan, execute, and drive adoption of process improvements.
  • Lead by example to contribute to a high performing, creative and collaborative culture.
