Echo is seeking a dynamic Account Executive who can skillfully provide solutions, creatively solve problems, and masterfully manage client freight needs and expectations for our Premier Client Management team.

As an Account Executive, you will mainly focus on managing the life of a load, particularly within Clutch, to achieve daily goals and exceed client expectations utilizing all tools available and following the account playbook. Responsible for ensuring outstanding service, Account Executives understand and exceed client expectations in the fast-paced, fluid truckload market.

Responsibilities:

We trust our Account Executives to drive load coverage and excellent service by analyzing current and historical data, executing playbook strategies and proactive client communication

  • Utilize Optimizer load boards, team email color coding, and communication with OS team to initiate entering loads into Clutch by utilizing Direct Assign vs Queue SOP
  • Manage shipments through Clutch, once built by the OS
  • Monitor carrier offers & communicate new truck postings via Clutch
  • Utilize STATs, Clutch and TQT to stay up to date with current internal/external markets and make best decision on freight coverage
  • Work with internal partners to ensure that all client shipments are proactively booked
  • Know where your freight is to proactively avoid service issues and to ensure on-time exception-free Pick-ups and deliveries
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues to Clients to help build and maintain relationship
  • Manage exceptions and service failures proactively
  • Work with your team to proactively learn how to spot quote and price truckload shipping opportunities (learning to prep for next level)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in Logistics
  • BA/BS Degree with high GPA
  • Client-facing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Calm under pressure
  • Self-managed and motivated
