Enterprise Sales Engineer
We are hiring a Sales Engineer to join our Corporate Legal vertical as a part of our North American Sales team. As the technical expert in the sales cycle, you will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the product advocate for our Cloud solution. Supporting our Midwest and Canadian territories, you will join a global team and partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Cloud Operations, Professional Services, and Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical customer pre-sale experience from lead inception to a successful sale, including the development and delivery of all product demonstrations
- Understand customer’s needs and demonstrate appropriate solutions through the iManage platform
- Develop and maintain our demonstration systems and environments based on our sales requirements and feedback from the field
- Attend and demonstrate iManage solutions at field events, such as conferences and trade shows
- Develop and demonstrate thought leadership in key verticals and product solutions
- Contribute to our product roadmap with new ideas and field feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical sales engineering role, preferably within a Cloud/SaaS environment
- Proven capability to present and communicate professionally in emails, RFPs, and product demonstrations
- Any familiarity with the following technologies is a huge plus:
- Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL/T-SQL, C#, etc.
- Windows Server, Linux, MS SQL Server
- Desktop Virtualization Technologies (VirtualBox, VMWare)
- Basic TCP/IP Networking (virtual networking, DNS, firewall/proxy, etc.)
- Must be comfortable with travel (up to 50%) to support our sales team
