Department OverviewThe North America Sales Training and Communications Team develops solutions to build world class sales competencies, behaviors, and knowledge through a variety of interactive and self-driven enablement methods which equip MSI and partner sales teams in North America to exceed quota and drive business performance.
Job Description
Collaborates with team members and critical work partners to develop communicate, execute, and maintain learning plans for all our routes to market. Job activities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate to align MSI sales training strategy to MSI business priorities to help drive sales results and fuel accelerated sales growth
- Develop effective training tactics for learning retention to help decrease sales new hire ramp up time
- Interfaces with field sellers, Sales Specialists, and other key work partners to ensure course material is targeted, accurate and relevant
- Curate training content, create training documentation & materials and monitor training effectiveness and course applicability
- Help drive the structure and content of national and regional sales kickoff events
- Develop and execute communications strategies and tactics that build awareness of our training and enable our sales reps to be successful
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- Bachelors Degree is required Preferred emphasis in Business, Sales, Communications or Marketing is preferred
- 2+ years of training, project management, event planning, administrative support or related activities with proven results in completed deliverables or project
- Strong business acumen, analysis, planning, and change leadership skills
- Self-starter, ability to prioritize, execute and multi-task in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders at various levels and build trusted partner relationship
- Outstanding written, verbal, and formal presentation communication skills
- Proven experience communicating to senior management and advocating for key programs
- Knowledge of Miller Heiman sales methodologies (MSI SalesWay preferred)
- Knowledge of MSI product, services and solutions portfolio
- Experience with multi-modal training delivery methods and strategies
- Well-versed in MSI sales enablement tools and platforms
- Change agent capable of seeing opportunity for improvement and driving execution
- Detail oriented
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a constantly changing work environment
- Confident individual who is willing to assume responsibility
- Self-motivated with a high degree of drive and determination
- Strong individual contributor and team playe
- Adaptive and flexible (changing technologies and processes)
Basic Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- 2+ years experience in one of the following: training, project management, event planning, or administrative support
