Making a Difference
The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting the Sales Executive with each phase of the sales cycle. The Sales Associate and Sales Executive will have a part mentor/mentee and part partner relationship. This individual must eventually have a deep knowledge of the RMIS market including, but not limited to; common industry pain points, primary competition, and industry knowledge. The Sales Associate will offer advice and insight to the prospect during the sales based on industry knowledge. This individual will also be responsible for cultivating relationships with their Sales Executive and all prospects. The Sales Associate will report to the Director of Sales Operations with a dotted line to the Sales Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Sales Executive/Sales Team Lead with each phase of the sales cycle including:
Initial discovery and qualification of prospective clients
Assessment of prospect’s needs and configuration and demonstration of software
Draft pricing, statements of work, and other contractual documentation
Conduct post-implementation follow-up by contacting client
Assist Sales Executive to grow a pipeline of potential clients
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products/services and clients’ needs and challenges
Participate in Sandler Trainings and attend demos as available
Requirements:
3-4 years of prior sales experience
Strong client relationship and time management skills
Self-motivated, pleasantly persistent, competitive, and driven
Strong ability to learn new concepts, problem-solve and think on your feet
Receptive to constructive feedback and continuous desire to improve in their skills
Experience or familiarity with a CRM system, preferably SalesForce
