Solutions Consultant (Legal)
This is a remote position. We are a global team that leverages the latest technology to communicate with our colleagues across the globe. When it’s safe to do so, there will be times in which this role would be required to travel to customer sites or a local office for in person collaborations with your team.
Being a Solutions Consultant (Legal) at iManage Means…
As the subject matter expert in the sales cycle, you are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical consultant and product expert for our Cloud solution. In addition, our team of solutions engineers works closely with global internal iManage teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Cloud Operations, Professional Services, Channel Management, Account Management and Support teams.
You are a former lawyer turned technology extraordinaire and love helping clients embrace high tech cloud solutions and interacting with them to solve problems along the way. iM Responsible For….
- Leading the customer pre-sale experience from lead inception to successful sale, including the development and delivery of all technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Staying up-to-date on all product developments and field messaging to effectively communicate value to customers and prospects.
- Developing and maintaining product demonstration systems and environments based on our sales requirements and feedback from the field.
- Supporting customer product evaluations of the iManage cloud solution
- Attending and demonstrating iManage solutions at field events, such as conferences and trade shows.
- Developing and demonstrating thought leadership in key verticals and product solutions.
- Contributing to our product roadmap with new ideas and field feedback.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- A JD and 2-5 years practicing law
- Experience in the legal software industry in a customer-facing role
- A passion for applying technology to solve real-world problems for legal professionals
- Proven to be able to effectively collaborate with senior sales executives on complex and diverse opportunities
- Comfort presenting on technical topics as they pertain to cloud solutions such as architecture, encryption, certifications/attestations such as SOC2, etc.
- An eagerness to leverage my legal experience to effectively explain and demonstrate technical solutions to legal professionals in a language that resonates with them
- A proven capability to communicate professionally in emails, RFPs, and product demonstrations
- Experience and comfort with the following:
- Microsoft Windows and Office 365
- Desktop virtualization software such as VMWare, Parallels, etc.
- Mac OS and Apple iOS
- Basic installation and configuration of desktop software
- A desire for some domestic travel to support our sales team when it is safe to do so.
