Department OverviewMotorola MC IoT solutions is working on creating new incremental revenue opportunity for Motorola by creating solution in the $5B Mission Critical IoT market. The IoT team is part of the emerging solutions initiative been tasked to identify and incubate new emerging solutions where MSI can create $100M+ growth. We are looking for a seasoned senior business development professional to enable driving our MC-IoT solution offerings to the market..
Job Description
- Work for MC-IOT business development head to scale our solutions to market in close collaboration with Partners and Motorola direct sales
- Drive MC IoT solutions sales by enabling and growing Motorola partner community, evangelize and co-sell with Motorola salesforce and engage targeted end customers
- Lead proposal generation and provide guidance to the regional proposal teams
- Secure customer wins/”proof points” working closely with products and engineering
- Enable creation of repeatable IoT software solution by acting as interface between products team and customers
Desired Experience:
- Engineering degree preferred
- Strong presentation skills
- Familiar with communication infrastructure, Motorola radio infrastructure (ASTRO P25, MotoTRBO, Analog) preferred
- Understanding of Giant Voice and Mass Notification markets
- Expected Travel of ~50% (Customer, Partner meetings, Events)
- Passionate and Comfortable working in a startup environment

- 5+ years of customer facing experience
- Bachelor’s degree
