Position Summary:
The role of Automotive Field Sales Specialist is to sell the unique advantages of Trade-In Valet to Dealership GM’s, DP’s and Owners nationwide. You will leverage your existing network. industry contacts, inbound leads to prospect and sell.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop qualified pipeline coverage to reflect 3X to 5X of monthly and quarterly quota targets
- Develop and maintain a perpetual pipeline of sales opportunities and deliver sales forecast amounts on monthly and quarterly basis
- Prospect and sell Trade-In Valet products and services to customers within your assigned territory using a consultative approach to meet and exceed all revenue quota targets (monthly/quarterly/annually)
- Present, follow-up and close utilizing Affinitiv’s quoting and contracting processes
- Travel within assigned territory and conduct online meetings with prospects and current customers
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit their dealership
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Utilize assigned Account Executives to ensure complete satisfaction with Affinitiv's installed products and services
- Conduct periodic in-person visits and online meetings with active clients to review tool utilization, performance and OEM requirements and Affinitiv guidelines
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and record all sales activity
- Document customer communication, issues, visit reports, etc
- Document sales and prospect activity
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand customer's specific needs
- Interact regularly with Affinitiv thought leaders: FCA Sales VP, OEM SVP to identify new opportunities
Position Requirements:
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience selling software and services directly to Automotive Dealers
- Preferably some experience with selling vehicle valuation software
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willing to travel 30-50%
- Previous record of sales success and excellent employment references
