What We'll Bring:

Reporting to the Chief Revenue and Chief Strategy Officer of TransUnion Healthcare, the VP Sales Leader, Go-To-Market (GTM) serves as the leader of client-facing functions for TransUnion Healthcare. In this role, the leader is tasked with executing Healthcare’s growth strategy and improving client satisfaction. Leadership responsibilities will encompass direct sales, account management, inside sales and sales operations functions. The VP Sales Leader will define market strategies, attract, mentor and retain top talent and build trusted client relationships. Success in the role will be defined by achieving annual revenue targets, improving client Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and ensuring a growth in client installs across all healthcare solution/business lines.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the Go-To-Market teams across direct sales, client success and sales operations functions
  • Attract, cultivate and retain top talent across all functions
  • Develop and execute strategies for achieving revenue targets in defined market segments
  • Provide leadership oversight for sales operations functions including capturing sales and client success activities in Salesforce.com; utilize captured data to build and refine strategies
  • Utilize an analytical approach to develop efficient market strategies and measure success of execution
  • Partner with General Managers in a matrix organization to ensure appropriate market messaging, solution positioning, improve brand awareness, develop sales training and ensure appropriate resources are available to support growth activities
  • Effectively navigate matrix resources to support growth strategies and execution; including product marketing, marketing & communications, finance, legal, operations, technology and membership
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve overall client satisfaction measured by revenue retention, net promoter scores (NPS) and reference-ability
  • Oversee the design, implementation and execution of effective incentive/commission strategies for incenting and rewarding achievement of revenue growth targets
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for TransUnion Healthcare at market facing events and through participation in professional organizations
  • Provide leadership for the development of standards across solution pricing, market messaging, activity capture and communications within the TransUnion Healthcare business unit
  • Provide industry insights to the business and product leaders to ensure that TransUnion’s solutions remain industry leading.
  • Position requires up to 75% travel

  • 15+ years in healthcare go-to-market leadership with increasing responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience with leading market-facing teams
  • Dynamic leadership qualities and ability to lead and motivate highly effective teams
  • Continuous growth in personal and professional growth including participation and leadership in professional organizations/associations
  • Expertise in healthcare revenue cycle, including patient access functions (e.g. healthcare insurance eligibility, payer connectivity, technology integrations) and back-end claims management and A/R functions
  • Expertise in the healthcare industry and demonstrated experience working in emerging areas such as population health management, risk stratification, network design and the use of data (i.e. SDOH) and how it can be applied to the key business issues facing clients
  • Ability to quickly become a leading expert on TU Healthcare solutions; ability to fully understand and articulate where solutions can help optimize the revenue cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and convey expertise and confidence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and relationship building capabilities
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative and matrixed team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree, MS/MBA preferred

     

    Impact you’ll make:

  • Expectations in the first 90 days – Develop, refine and implement strategies for achieving revenue growth.  Assess existing talent and develop plans for increasing overall talent within Go-To-Market organization.  Define and implement standards for capturing activity in SF.com, pricing standards, contracting approvals and market messaging.

    • Leader within the healthcare business unit 
    • TransUnion brand ambassador to the healthcare industry
    • Trusted leader and team member to build internal and external brand awareness/satisfaction 
    • Leveraging your skills and knowledge to help us win in the marketplace.
