We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Engineer with 5–7 years of experience, including proven work within financial services environments (banking, wealth management, insurance, or fintech).

This role will focus on designing, building, and optimizing scalable, compliant, and data-driven customer engagement solutions. The ideal candidate understands both the technical architecture of SFMC and the regulatory and data sensitivity requirements unique to financial services.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • SFMC Development & Engineering
    • Design, develop, and deploy solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)
    • Build and optimize customer journeys, triggered communications, and lifecycle campaigns
    • Develop dynamic, personalized content using AMPscript, SSJS, and HTML/CSS
    • Configure and manage data extensions, segmentation logic, and automation workflows
  • Data & Integration
    • Integrate SFMC with external systems (CRM, data warehouses, APIs, core banking systems)
    • Work with Salesforce Core (Sales/Service Cloud) and/or Data Cloud for unified customer data
    • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and synchronization across platforms
  • Financial Services Compliance & Best Practices
    • Implement solutions aligned with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM)
    • Support consent management, preference centers, and audit-ready campaign execution
    • Ensure secure handling of sensitive financial and customer data
  • Performance & Optimization
    • Monitor campaign performance and deliverability metrics
    • Optimize segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies
    • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance
  • Collaboration
    • Partner with Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Data teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions
    • Support campaign execution and provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders
