Job Description

SailPoint is seeking a Salesforce Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce solutions. This role is critical to ensuring our CRM architecture aligns with enterprise standards and business goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and a passion for creating scalable, high-quality solutions.

📋 Responsibilities
  • Architect and Design: Design and implement scalable, efficient Salesforce architectures and solutions that meet business needs.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead complex Salesforce implementations and integrations, providing technical guidance to development teams.

  • Best Practices: Develop and enforce Salesforce development best practices, including coding standards, to ensure solution quality.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.

  • System Optimization: Monitor and optimize Salesforce platform performance, and troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Data Management: Design and oversee data modeling, data migration, and data sharing within Salesforce.

🎓 Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience on the Salesforce platform, with a proven track record in solution design and architecture.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configurations, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

    • Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and third-party integration tools.

    • Familiarity with multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • Certifications:

    • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect is highly desirable.

    • The Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is a major plus.

  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.

  • Knowledge of SailPoint's products and how they can integrate with Salesforce.

🗓️ What Your First 90 Days Will Look Like

As a Salesforce Solution Architect at SailPoint, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our enterprise architecture. Here is how you will make an impact during your first three months:

30 Days: Onboard & Align (Discovery)

  • Master Our Tech Stack: Dive deep into our Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, CPQ) and integrations to understand how Salesforce supports SailPoint’s operations.

  • Understand Priorities: Align with Product Owners and key stakeholders to map out strategic project roadmaps and backlog priorities.

  • Adopt DevOps Processes: Familiarize yourself with our CI/CD pipelines, release management protocols, and environment strategies.

  • Build Key Relationships: Connect with developers, admins, and business analysts to establish strong, collaborative working patterns.

60 Days: Engage & Execute (Solutioning & Quality)

  • Drive Solution Design: Partner with business partners to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical designs.

  • Ensure Code Excellence: Actively review code (Apex, LWC), advocate for Salesforce best practices, and mentor developers on architectural guardrails.

  • Facilitate Sprint Delivery: Work closely with the Scrum team to unblock developers, refine technical user stories, and ensure predictable, timely sprint releases.

90 Days: Lead & Innovate (Proactive Impact)

  • Own Project Delivery: Lead high-impact, strategic architectural initiatives autonomously from conception to deployment.

  • Foster an Agentic Mindset: Shift the team toward proactive problem-solving, identifying repetitive processes and designing intelligent automation solutions.

  • Create Systemic Efficiencies: Optimize our DevOps processes, reduce technical debt, and establish long-term monitoring for Salesforce org health and performance.
