As a Technical Lead, you are the architectural anchor and delivery engine for Thunder’s most complex Salesforce ecosystems. You blend deep technical mastery—spanning Apex, LWC, and cross cloud complex integrations—with a consultative mindset to transform business requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. Beyond core Salesforce implementations, you’ll have the opportunity to lead critical Data 360 migrations and pioneer the deployment of Agentforce to drive autonomous innovation for our clients. You serve as a hands-on developer, a strategic advisor, and a mentor, ensuring every project balances cutting-edge AI and cloud capabilities with architectural integrity and rigorous coding standards.
Role Summary:
- Own the technical roadmap by translating estimators, SOWs, and sales handoffs into comprehensive Technical Design Documents (TDD) that expertly integrate core Salesforce with external services for robust, cross-platform solutions.
- Drive the full development lifecycle, writing high-quality code and managing integrations between Salesforce and third-party or proprietary AWS environments.
- Lead technical workshops and client design sessions to define technical strategy and manage scope, acting as the primary bridge between high-level business goals and technical feasibility.
- Manage Integration Syncs with on+offshore development teams, providing the oversight necessary.
- Outline and oversee the end-to-end Data Migration Plan, ensuring the successful execution of complex migrations to power autonomous innovation and customer service excellence.
- Champion modern development best practices while maintaining hands-on involvement in the project's health by actively triaging reported bugs and ensuring technical milestones are met.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, with the most recent 2-3+ years as a Technical Lead or Developer
- Minimum of 2-4+ years of experience managing offshore resources
- 3+ years of Hands-on Lightning, LWC, Apex, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Salesforce API development experience
- Strong understanding of the core Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) with functional knowledge of other areas of the Product Suite (Agentforce, Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, AWS/Amazon Connect, etc.)
- Ability to refine user stories with necessary technical aspects (i.e., security, visibility, scalability, extensibility, performance) to ensure feasibility
- Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ERP, data warehouse, marketing, AWS, Azure, reporting, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Development Lifecycle, environment & release management, org strategy, branching strategies, best practices, and deployment methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment, either on a team or as an individual contributor
- Excellent client-facing written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working within Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Active Salesforce certifications and willingness to achieve additional certifications on emerging technologies - examples of certifications:
- Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Sharing and Visibility Architect, Data Architect, Mulesoft Integrations Architect, Service Cloud Consultant, Identity and Access Management Architect, Deployment Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Experience Cloud Consultant
