Configure and implement SAP FICO solutions to meet US requirements, ensuring integration with the existing SAP environment while collaborating with key users and developers.
Independently configure and adapt the company code for the US entity
§Implement local US requirements, including tax determination
Setting up the intercompany related tax determination
Coordinate and deliver local financial and tax-related forms in collaboration with a developer
Work closely with business departments, key users, and the global template team
Ensure seamless integration into the existing SAP landscape (FI, CO, MM, SD)
following with existing skill- ore FI/CO Strengths
- Strong command of FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA)
- Ownership of month-end and year-end close, including inventory close, WIP, GR/IR, and COGS reconciliation
- Clear understanding of financial postings from MM/WM and production processes
- Ability to explain and defend numbers during audit and management review
MM & Inventory Accounting Expertise
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Material Valuation:
- Standard Price vs Moving Average Price
- Price changes, revaluation, and impact on GL
- Strong understanding of Material Ledger:
Actual costing - Period-end closing
- Variance calculation and settlement
- Experience with Release Strategies (PO and PR approvals) and financial controls
- End-to-end GR/IR management, reconciliation, and clearing
- Inventory accounting integration with FI:
- Stock postings
- Consumption postings
- Inventory adjustments and write-offs
- WM / Inventory Management Exposure
- Understanding of WM-driven inventory movements and their FI impact
- Physical inventory processes:
- Inventory count
- Differences posting
- Cycle counting and annual stock take
- Ability to align warehouse movements with financial accuracy
- Manufacturing Costing & COGS
- Strong experience in Product Costing:
- BOM and routing-based costing
- Planned vs actual cost comparison
- Solid understanding of Manufacturing Cost Flow:
- Raw materials → WIP → Finished Goods
- Variance analysis
- COGS calculation and reconciliation from production and sales
- Exposure to settlement of production orders and WIP capitalization
- Ability to explain cost buildup, margins, and profitability to finance and operations
