About the role:

This role focuses on creating intuitive, dynamic user interfaces and visualizations for Ignition SCADA systems in mission critical data center applications. As a SCADA Front-End Engineer, you will specialize in graphics development, screen creation, 3D floorplans, and user experience design for BMS and EPMS systems. Under the direction of a senior and lead engineer, you will design compelling visual interfaces that make complex data accessible and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently develop and deploy advanced Ignition Perspective front-end projects with focus on user experience and visual design.
  • Create scalable graphics templates, custom components, and interactive visualizations according to design standards.
  • Collaborate with back-end integration teams to ensure seamless data presentation and user interaction.
  • Lead the visual design aspects of large projects while managing small front-end projects independently.
  • Support user acceptance testing, interface validation, and visualization troubleshooting.


Qualifications:

  • Design and develop sophisticated Ignition Perspective projects with emphasis on intuitive navigation, responsive layouts, and user-centric design.
  • Create dynamic 3D floorplans, SVG graphics, and interactive visualizations that effectively communicate system status and performance.
  • Develop comprehensive view templates and reusable visual components for consistent implementation across perspective projects and Edge HMIs.
  • Build scalable graphics libraries that support alarming visualization, trend displays, and real-time data presentation within unified client standards.
  • Design and implement user role-based interfaces with appropriate permission levels and customized dashboards.
  • Create responsive designs that work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
  • Develop custom CSS styling, animations, and interactive elements to enhance user experience.
