Responsible for processing work requests through mail and e-mail channels. The incumbent serves as a primary point of contact for processing deceased accounts, certificates, IRAs, and trust accounts. Leads tax reporting testing and validation. Resources to do the job require reliance on knowledge of credit union policies and procedures. Immediate supervision is received from the Supervisor of Account Services.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide service to internal and external customers
- Complete loan reconstruction by creating share and loan products applicable under the new account number
- Process death notification entries and daily deceased reporting
- Processes ownership changes including adding or deleting joint owners, beneficiary designation, and address change requests
- Index confidential documents using workflow management and perform quality control of required documents
- Process member correspondence related to account research, general inquiries, verification of deposit and statement requests
- Assist in distribution of daily workflow and new hire training
- Process IRS reported tax dividend form 1099INT
- Participates in testing of software releases and enhancements making appropriate
- Participate and respond to Business Risk inquiries and assist with business remediation efforts
- Conduct root cause analysis, create summaries and/or process documents detailing remediation activities and escalate issues to management
- Ensure department procedures are maintained and up to date
- Update Knowledge Base as appropriate based on remediation outcomes
- Identify continuous operational improvement opportunities and service efficiency initiatives; recommend solutions, and champion the implementation of agreed upon changes with management support
Education & Years of Experience
- Minimum - High School or Equivalent
- Minimum - 2 Years of Customer, Service Focused or related
Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $46,100.00 to $65,300.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
