The Senior Advisor(Producer) is a senior-level insurance sales leader responsible for driving organic growth through strategic client acquisition, trusted advisory relationships, and market leadership. This role is designed for a highly experienced producer who operates as a business advisor — not simply a salesperson — helping clients protect and scale their businesses through sophisticated risk management and insurance solutions.

Advisors at The Baldwin Group, leverage deep industry knowledge, carrier relationships, and consultative selling expertise to deliver tailored insurance strategies. Success in this role requires executive presence, strong business acumen, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with mid-to-large market organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive new revenue through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic relationship development

  • Identify client risk exposures and design comprehensive insurance solutions aligned to business objectives

  • Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities

  • Achieve and exceed individual production and revenue targets

Client Advisory Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, and risk managers

  • Lead consultative discussions around risk strategy, coverage structure, and long-term planning

  • Present sophisticated proposals and renewal strategies with clarity and executive-level credibility

  • Maintain high-touch client relationships to promote retention and cross-sell opportunities

Market & Carrier Engagement

  • Leverage strong carrier partnerships to secure competitive solutions

  • Collaborate with internal placement and service teams to deliver seamless execution

  • Stay current on market conditions, industry trends, and emerging risk exposures

Collaboration & Culture

  • Partner with internal advisors, client experience teams, and specialists to deliver a best-in-class client experience

  • Contribute to a culture of performance, professionalism, and accountability

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial or benefits insurance production or advisory experience

  • Demonstrated success selling mid-to-large market commercial insurance programs

  • Strong consultative sales approach with executive-level communication skills

  • Established network and proven ability to generate new business

  • Deep understanding of commercial risk, coverage structures, and market dynamics

  • Active insurance license required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
