Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Program Operations & Optimization supports the Digital Experience Strategy & Optimization team across the CVS Pharmacy Homepage, Pharmacy Experience, CRM, personalization initiatives, future growth programs such as GLP-1, and other strategic digital experience efforts.

This role serves as the operational backbone of the team, ensuring initiatives are effectively coordinated, documented, tracked, and executed. The Senior Analyst partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, CRM, Analytics, Marketing Operations, Creative, Legal, SEO, Media, and business teams to support program delivery, manage operational processes, maintain portfolio visibility, and enable effective decision-making.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and action-focused, with strong project management, communication, and business analysis skills. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex cross-functional programs.

Remote Work Location: This is a remote position. While employees may work from any U.S. location, candidates should be able to maintain regular working hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone (EST/ET) and be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Operations & Portfolio Management (60%)

Drive Program Operations

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for portfolio operations across Homepage, Pharmacy Experience, CRM, personalization, GLP-1, and related digital initiatives.
  • Maintain portfolio-level workstream trackers, project plans, status updates, and deliverable schedules.
  • Support portfolio governance processes and ensure timely communication of project status, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) tracking and facilitate resolution follow-up with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Track ownership, commitments, decisions, and action items across projects and workstreams.
  • Support preparation of steering committee materials, operating reviews, business updates, and leadership readouts.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities from meetings and help ensure agreed-upon actions are completed.
  • Provide visibility into project health, progress, risks, and next steps across the portfolio.

Workfront & Intake Management

  • Administer Workfront workflows, project intake processes, and operational reporting.
  • Maintain project documentation, work requests, approvals, timelines, and workflow status.
  • Support intake and prioritization processes by ensuring requests are properly documented and routed.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure projects have clear objectives, requirements, owners, and timelines.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate activities across Product, CRM, Analytics, Marketing Operations, Creative, Legal, Media, SEO, and business teams.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, blockers, and escalation needs.
  • Support successful execution of initiatives from intake through launch and post-launch review.

Business Analysis & Requirements Management (25%)

Business Requirements & Brief Development

  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable project documentation.
  • Develop creative briefs, project briefs, intake documents, and supporting requirements materials.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify objectives, use cases, success measures, and expected outcomes.
  • Support development and refinement of intake forms, templates, and operational documentation.

Solution & Process Support

  • Document requirements and business needs across Homepage, CRM, personalization, and digital experience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and appropriately implemented.
  • Help identify process improvement opportunities that simplify team operations and execution.

Measurement Planning

  • Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics and business objectives for new initiatives.
  • Ensure projects include appropriate measurement plans and performance expectations.

Reporting, Performance Tracking & Executive Communications (15%)

Reporting Support

  • Support production of recurring scorecards, dashboards, and performance reporting materials.
  • Maintain reporting templates and weekly performance packages.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources into leadership-ready reporting materials.
  • Track initiative performance and support reporting on optimization outcomes.

Executive Communications

  • Develop executive-ready presentations, status updates, summaries, and leadership communications.
  • Translate complex program updates into concise, actionable narratives.
  • Support preparation of materials for leadership meetings, steering committees, and operating reviews.
  • Maintain visibility into key accomplishments, risks, decisions, and upcoming milestones.

Homepage-Specific Responsibilities

In support of Homepage optimization initiatives, this role will:

  • Maintain Homepage backlogs and enhancement trackers.
  • Manage homepage intake requests and workflow processes.
  • Document business and functional requirements.
  • Track optimization initiatives and implementation status.
  • Coordinate Homepage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Support legal, compliance, and review processes.
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Support test administration and implementation activities.
  • Maintain action logs, follow-up items, and status reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, business analysis, digital marketing, consulting, operations, or related disciplines
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience developing project documentation, requirements, briefs, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Workfront, Jira, Asana or similar project management platforms
  • Experience supporting digital experience, website, CRM, personalization, or customer journey initiatives
  • Experience within healthcare, retail, ecommerce, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with analytics reporting, KPI tracking, and performance dashboards
  • Experience supporting executive communications and leadership reporting

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
