In this role, you will:
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years experience in SAS, Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL.
- 2+ years experience in databases such as Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Strong hands-on experience with analytics and automation workflows working with large, complex datasets; advanced SQL proficiency required (SAS, Teradata, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience performing data discovery, source-to-target analysis, and building reusable data transformations (e.g., standardized metrics, dimensional models, or curated analytical datasets) with strong attention to data quality and lineage.
- Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to translate analytical results into clear recommendations, trade-offs, and measurable business outcomes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The Senior Analytic Consultant is required to be in the office 3 days per week for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- The role is designed for a self-starter who can independently problem solve and execute with minimal manager oversight.
