Join J.P. Morgan Payments as a Senior Associate, Content Strategist and help define how one of the world's leading payments businesses tells its story. You'll be part of a global content team where your editorial instincts, strategic thinking, and passion for impactful storytelling will directly shape how we connect with clients, partners, and the broader market. This is a rare opportunity to build and scale modern content programs at the intersection of finance, technology, and global commerce — with the reach and resources of JPMorganChase behind you.

As a Senior Associate, Content Strategist on J.P. You'll translate complex payments and financial topics into clear, compelling narratives across multiple channels and formats — connecting strategy, audience, and measurement to drive real impact. Working closely with product, sales, regional, and marketing channel teams, you'll help ensure our content earns attention in a competitive market and scales effectively across a large, global organization. This role is ideal for an editorial-minded self-starter with strong executive presence who is energized by building programs, shaping narratives, and continuously improving how content gets made and optimized.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and operationalize a thought leadership and editorial strategy for J.P. Morgan Payments, aligned to business priorities and audience needs across global markets
  • Drive point-of-view development by identifying compelling story angles, sharpening narratives, and elevating drafts through decisive editorial judgment
  • Lead narrative editing across formats — including articles, executive perspectives, data-led storytelling, scripts, and long-form content — ensuring clarity, credibility, and a consistent brand voice
  • Own end-to-end execution of key content programs, including ideation, pitching, briefing, stakeholder alignment, production coordination, and delivery
  • Publish and maintain content across digital platforms, including hands-on content management system (CMS) management covering posting, quality assurance, tagging, metadata, and updates
  • Manage editorial planning, calendars, and workflow to ensure prioritization, on-time delivery, and clean handoffs across writers, designers, and channel owners
  • Partner with product, sales, regional, and marketing channel teams to align content to go-to-market motions and integrated campaigns
  • Build and improve content systems by developing repeatable templates, playbooks, governance frameworks, and lightweight processes that scale output without sacrificing quality
  • Apply performance insights — including engagement data, conversion signals, and search optimization learnings — to continuously optimize topics, formats, and channel plans
  • Support the launch and scaling of new content programs, franchises, or initiatives within a large, complex organization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on Content Strategy concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Demonstrated strength in narrative development and editorial judgment — able to shape points of view, refine structure, and raise quality beyond copyediting
  • Proven experience in editorial or newsroom environments, including managing or contributing to a brand publication, in-house content hub, or equivalent
  • Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to design content approaches that connect strategy, audience, channels, and measurement
  • Hands-on experience with a content management system (CMS), including publishing workflows, tagging, metadata, quality assurance, and basic troubleshooting
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience partnering with senior and executive-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated project management ability — organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple workstreams with speed and precision
  • Experience launching or scaling new programs or initiatives within a large or complex organization

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Background in financial services, payments, or fintech content with the ability to translate technical subject matter for business audiences
  • Experience developing multi-channel campaigns and integrated content programs across digital, social, and owned platforms
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles and performance analytics tools used to inform content strategy
  • Thoughtful, practical experience applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools to accelerate content production and personalization without compromising brand voice or quality
  • A diverse portfolio demonstrating brand- and audience-led editorial work across formats and channels
