The Senior Associate, Human Resources is a key member of the Healthcare Consulting HR Business Partner team and a vital contributor to Huron’s talent strategy. Working in tandem with the Healthcare Business Partners and HR Strategy Leader, this role will support the design and delivery of HR Business Partner-led lifecycle events and strategic projects by translating business objectives into actionable talent strategies, analyzing workforce data, and providing support to the HRBP Managers within Healthcare Consulting. The ideal candidate brings practical expertise, a keen understanding of the business, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; HR Certification preferred (SHRM-CP or equivalent).
  • 3+ years in an HR role, preferably in professional services, consulting and/or Healthcare.
  • HR Generalist and/or demonstrated experience in performance management, employee relations, reporting and analytics, HRIS system administration, and general HR support.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Huron is an MS Teams-centric organization), with advanced Excel and Power Point skills. Workday administration experience preferred.
  • Healthcare HR and/or labor relations experience not required, but is a plus.

  • Problem-solving: applies critical thinking to diagnose issues, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Communication: possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor messages to diverse audiences, and handle sensitive communications with discretion.
  • Integrity and confidentiality: maintains a high level of professionalism, ethical standards, and protects sensitive information at all times.
  • Skilled at Prioritization: possesses the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, thrives in a demanding environment, and is energized by a role that offers diverse tasks and responsibilities.

General Responsibilities:

  • Supports key HRBP processes and initiatives to ensure effective integration and retention of employees, including performance management, compensation, and workforce planning.
  • Supports the full-lifecycle talent processes including performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, and overall HR process support, as needed.
  • Provides support during M&A integrations on an as needed basis.
  • Manages reporting requests; run reports, analyze/synthesize data insights to ensure timeliness and accuracy (e.g., turnover, engagement, onboarding) to provide recommendations to HRBPs and business leadership.
  • In collaboration with HR Business Partners, advises and supports individuals on a broad spectrum of employee lifecycle events such as new hire onboarding, company policies and procedures, off-boarding activities, transfers, compensation adjustment and general ad hoc requests.
  • Consults with HR COE’s and Huron’s General Counsel on employee relations matters, relocations, work visas, benefits, and more.
  • Develops and executes project plans, identifies process improvements, and actively participates in organization-wide transformation efforts.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $85,000 - $115,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $97,750 - $132,250. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
