Senior Automation Engineer

In this role, you will directly influence the operational excellence of our Aerospace business by spearheading the deployment of modern manufacturing tools and data-driven process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of digital tools to improve processes throughout the site.
• Drive technology initiatives focusing on: SQL (MS SQL), SCADA (Ignition), .NET/C# programming, server management, ERP (SAP), MES, statistics (Minitab), measurement systems, automated inspection, and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, quality, receiving/inspection, and site management to develop a digital roadmap for the site that aligns with the overall Honeywell Aerospace digital strategy..

You Must Have

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with digital tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of databases, network infrastructure, programming, and measurement systems.
• Software Proficiency: Competency with manufacturing software tools such as MES, SAP, SCADA systems, and SPC applications.
• Problem Solving: Experience troubleshooting and optimizing software and data systems in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Mindset: A growth mindset and a continuous desire to learn new skills and processes.

We Value

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Certifications: Six Sigma certifications (Green Belt, Black Belt) or advanced training in statistics.
• Specialized Skills: Experience with Ignition modules such as Vision and Perspective.
