Description
As a Senior AWS Account Executive at CDW, you will serve as an outcome-driven strategic sales partner, leading continuous client engagement centered on high-impact Professional Services and ongoing Managed Services. You will maintain a high-visibility, active presence with client leadership by driving consistent weekly strategy touchpoints, quarterly executive alignment (QBRs), and project roadmap reviews. In this role, you will bridge customer business objectives with expert professional services engagement and long-term managed services operations to ensure sustained client success, account growth, and maximized value. What you will do
* Identify, scope, and attach Mission Cloud Professional Services (migrations, modernization, GenAI/data engineering) and Managed Services to accelerate client transformation and ensure long-term operational health.
* Maintain a persistent, highly visible cadence with client stakeholders that goes beyond transactional check-ins to hold consistent weekly customer strategy touchpoints, on-site planning sessions, and structured QBRs.
* Act as a trusted business partner, continually auditing client goals, technical roadmaps, and KPIs to tie every Professional and Managed Services engagement to tangible business results (ROI, agility, cost efficiency, time-to-market).
* Lead quarterly strategy sessions (QBRs) and executive reviews that highlight operational metrics, milestone achievements, and future technology roadmaps across Professional and Managed Services delivery.
* Develop and nurture multi-threaded relationships across the C-suite, VP of Engineering, and IT Operations to align business strategy with Mission Cloud's delivery capabilities.
* Drive tight co-selling and ongoing field engagement with AWS account teams, solutions architects, and internal delivery practices to deliver seamless, end-to-end service execution.
* Uncover expansion, cross-sell, and recurring managed service opportunities organically through active customer immersion, project milestone successes, and ongoing advisory. What we expect of you
* 5+ years in consultative technology sales or account management with a proven track record of positioning and closing complex Professional Services engagements and recurring Managed Services contracts within cloud ecosystems.
* Demonstrated ability to frame sales conversations around customer business outcomes, ROI, and strategic transformations rather than transactional infrastructure consumption.
* Demonstrated history of consistent weekly customer engagement, regular customer-facing interactions (virtual and in-person), and leading collaborative strategy workshops.
* Ability to command a room, articulate business impact, and build long-term trust with C-suite and technical decision-makers alike.
* AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (or commitment to achieve within the first 30 days of employment); strong operational understanding of cloud architecture, managed ops, and professional services delivery models.
* Willingness to maintain at least 40% travel to be on-site with clients, AWS partners, and key industry events.
