itD is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Sales Compensation to own and continuously improve a mission-critical sales compensation platform that directly impacts sales payments, financial close timelines, and revenue reporting. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in business systems, revenue systems, or compensation systems, with hands-on expertise in SAP Commissions (formerly Callidus TrueComp) and a track record of delivering accurate, reliable, and scalable compensation processes.

Location: Remote or Hybrid — anywhere in the U.S.
Duration: 10 months

Responsibilities:
  • Own the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of the sales compensation platform.
  • Analyze end-to-end sales compensation processes, including plans, quotas, credits, calculations, and payouts.
  • Develop and execute test strategies across unit, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles.
  • Validate and reconcile compensation and revenue data using SQL to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Coordinate integrations across CRM, ERP, planning, HR, and data platforms to support reliable compensation processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Technology, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
  • Document business processes, requirements, system changes, test results, and operational procedures while supporting audit and financial control requirements.
Internal Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Systems, Revenue Systems, Compensation Systems, or a related analytical role.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Commissions / Callidus TrueComp or a similar sales compensation platform such as Xactly, Varicent, or CaptivateIQ.
  • Experience with integrations involving Salesforce, Snowflake, Anaplan, Workday, or similar CRM, ERP, planning, or data systems.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end sales compensation processes, including plans, quotas, credits, calculations, and payouts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business decisions.
  • Expertise in test strategy and execution across unit, functional, and UAT cycles.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to SOX, finance controls, and audit requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, process discipline, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience with sales compensation platforms beyond SAP Commissions, including Xactly, Varicent, or CaptivateIQ.
  • Experience supporting systems at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Technology.
  • Experience improving compensation processes to support timely financial closes, accurate revenue reporting, and executive visibility.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
