What you'll be doing

As a valued member of the Commercial banking team, you will be an integral component of Sponsor Finance and part of a team of Relationship Managers who create value for Private Equity clients by understanding their loan transaction and daily portfolio needs with a view to architecting and delivering integrated management solutions. As the Client Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Private Equity firms as their daily point of contact, both internal and external communication, understanding the client needs and taking responsibility for the execution of loan and daily business needs. You will provide relevant recommendations when appropriate while acting as a key liaison interface to internal partners to facilitate solution onboarding that proactively meets clients’ needs.

  • Strategic Minded - You’ll build and execute on communication strategies with the support of the Relationship Managers to use your critical thinking skills to assist the client with their daily needs.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
