What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering) with a strong academic record.
- 8 years or above experience in supporting clients and at least 4 years in analytics, ideally in industries like financial services, insurance, or digital marketing.
- Proven success in end-to-end model development for at least 4 years.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Advanced programming skills and aptitude: proficiency with statistical programs such as R or Python; experience with other programming languages (SQL, C/C++, Java, Ab Initio) and platforms (Hive, Spark)
- Capable of leading complex analytics projects with minimal supervision and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent project/time management; able to handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Skilled in translating technical insights into actionable business recommendations.

Impact You'll Make:
This position is responsible for developing credit risk management and business intelligence analytic solutions through consulting engagements and research serving TransUnion’s clients. This position requires an understanding of consumer lending and credit risk management practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive strategic business initiatives and deliver long-term, value-added product solutions, including predictive risk and business intelligence tools for clients including credit card issuers, lenders, collections agencies, and retail banks.
- Lead analytics engagements across the consumer lending lifecycle using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive techniques (e.g., segmentation, logistic regression, PCA, decision trees, random forests, XGBoost).
- Design and develop programs for data extraction, segmentation, and statistical analysis on large datasets using tools like R, SQL, and Hive.
- Deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations for internal and external customers representing a wide range of backgrounds and levels.
- Develop project proposals, sales presentations and promotional collateral to enable the adoption of integrated customer solutions supported by TransUnion.
- Identify strategies and opportunities for customers to test and adopt TransUnion’s analytic products and services.
- Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with TransUnion’s values.
