Part of the Segment and Content Marketing team, Content Marketing Managers partner with Segment Marketing Managers to deliver go-to-market strategy for one of our defined audiences. In this role, you’ll own content strategy and production across a variety of formats as part of thoughtfully designed & orchestrated marketing campaigns that activate & engage both prospects and existing customers.
YOUR MISSION
The right person doesn’t just “do content”, they build and run a high-performance content engine that drives real business results. You will play a key role in defining Mural’s voice and storytelling, leading the development of impactful, high-quality demand generation content across a variety of formats: video, emails, webinars, blogs, articles, events, research papers, and more. Each piece will contribute to a cohesive, integrated content ecosystem that is aligned with marketing and business objective
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset. You’ll be responsible for creating, scaling, and continuously improving how we show up across channels owning everything from strategy to execution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build and operate a high-velocity content engine across video blog, web, email, and gated assets from ideation to publishing to iteration
Write, edit, and ship exceptional content with speed and consistency
Manage the editorial calendar and ensure a steady drumbeat of high-quality output
Curate, test, and experiment with content across multiple distribution channels (Youtube, Reddit, Substack) that drive awareness, engagement, and trust
Continuously test formats, narratives, and distribution tactics
Act as producer during filming, coordinate shoots, guide on-camera delivery, and ensure high production quality
Translate ideas into compelling video content that performs
Connect content to business outcomes, including awareness, adoption, pipeline, and revenue
Bring a strong point of view on SEO, GEO, funnel dynamics, and content’s role across the customer journey
Use data and insight to refine strategy and double down on what works
Partner closely with marketing, product, sales, and leadership
Influence stakeholders and align content efforts with broader company goals
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
A roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial mindset. You’re as comfortable executing as you are setting strategy
Proven experience owning and scaling a content program or engine
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with sharp editorial judgment and a strong sense of voice and persuasion
A track record of shipping high-quality content quickly and consistently
Deep understanding of how content drives pipeline, not just traffic
Strong grasp of SEO, distribution, and conversion across the funnel
Experience managing editorial calendars and maintaining a high publishing cadence
Confidence operating across formats, including written, video, and social
You’re a power user of AI tools and use them daily to enhance your work
The base salary for this role ranges from $115,000 - $140,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
