The Senior Corporate Accountant will work under the direction of the A&C Corporate Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller.  The high visibility position will work directly with internal/external auditors and finance management across the company.  The ideal candidate will be able to manage and accomplish the goals across multiple projects concurrently, have a strong desire to improve processes by leveraging data and information systems, and possess a sense of creativity and flexibility toward meeting objectives.  Prior experience with payroll accounting is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/review balance sheet account reconciliations.  Identify and document process, report on issues, and propose remediations.

  • Document, maintain and improve Hub’s accounting and corporate policies.

  • Provide consulting and advocacy services to finance and accounting teams to affect a robust, mature, and reliable system of internal controls over financial reporting.

  • Administer and strengthen the corporate accounting group’s account reconciliation inventory.

  • Work directly with the external audit firm on the annual financial audit.

  • Oversee payroll accounting activities and support GL reconciliation to Workday source data

  • Participate in monthly financial close activities as requested.

  • Work and communicate directly with corporate and regional finance/accounting leadership in a high-visibility position.

  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the accounting, finance, and M&A departments for special projects as necessary.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 2-4 years of experience preferred.

  • CPA preferred.

  • Experience collaborating directly with external auditors.

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, Smart View, Business Intelligence, Workday, ADP, CoStar, Blackline, or other account reconciliation software is a plus.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects both in a group and independently.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Desire to implement automated and technological solutions to accounting processes.

The expected pay range for this position is $80K to $100K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
