As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll influence strategic decisions and measure the business impact of cutting-edge models developed by our world-class machine learning research team. You will join a team of statistically-minded analysts who own the design, analysis, and interpretation of experiments across the company. You will partner with data scientists to estimate opportunity size, advise where to invest, monitor rollouts, evaluate model performance, and measure the resulting change in company KPIs.

What You'll Do- Providing data analytics support for the ML and AI models that underpin our core products
- Partnering with machine learning researchers and data science stakeholders to design experiments to answer business questions, including defining key metrics and applying appropriate statistical techniques to analyze results
- Supporting a culture of experimentation to promote faster cycles of iteration, learning, and product improvement
- Build dashboards to monitor the performance, inference, and application of core models.
- Conduct investigations into trends and anomalies in model performance and data drift
- Developing attribution methodology to measure the contribution of deployed models to company KPIs
- Simulate proposed changes to core systems (e.g. recommendation, filtering, etc.) to support the strategic decisions around model development and deployment
- 3-5+ years' experience as a data analyst or data scientist
- Masters in statistics or other relevant fields preferred
- Familiarity with best practices for the design and analysis of experiments
- Strong technical skills: querying data with SQL, statistical programming, familiarity with statistical learning techniques (regression, clustering, etc.), and communicating findings with compelling data visualizations
- Experience with health system clinical and/or revenue cycle data is preferred
- Strategic: strong ability to connect analytics to business understanding and concrete use cases
- Problem Solver: develops a structured framework for approaching ambiguous problems, translate them into clear analytical questions, and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
- Ownership mindset: Build and own data products from start to finish.
- Experience programming in R
- Experience with Markov Chain Monte Carlo simulations, linear mixed effect models, Bayesian statistics, and multi-armed bandits
- Experience having built ETL pipelines in dbt
- Data Visualization: Hex and Omni
- Analysis:
- Python (libraries: numpy, pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn, seaborn, etc.)
- R (libraries: dplyr, ggplot2, lme4, etc.)
- Pipelines: Snowflake, dbt, airflow, git, and AWS
