- Build and maintain the complete financial reporting infrastructure for new iCasino division — dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI tracking — from scratch
- Own data modeling in partnership with the analytics engineering team through to final reporting in Sigma and Oracle
- Join and transform large, complex datasets using SQL, Snowflake, and dbt to support cross-functional reporting needs
- Surface insights on how the business is operating and communicate findings clearly to finance and business stakeholders
- Design and develop BI solutions in Sigma following industry best practices
- Help implement and maintain best practices for internal and external Sigma environments
- Collaborate with analysts and data engineers to solve business problems and build scalable solutions
- Leverage GenAI tools (Snowflake Cortex, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to automate workflows and improve reporting efficiency
- Train and mentor others on BI best practices and newer Snowflake and Claude functionalities
- Stay current on trends in data analytics and the sports betting and gaming industry
- 4+ years of experience in an analyst role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong SQL skills — querying and working with large datasets across platforms including Snowflake, BigQuery, MSSQL, Vertica, Presto, or PostgreSQL
- Experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud — building models, transformations, and reports
- Proficiency with a BI / visualization tool — Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or similar
- True end-to-end project ownership — you’ve built things from scratch, not just contributed to them
- Ability to communicate clearly with both engineering teams (requirements) and non-technical stakeholders (insights and progress)
- Strong accountability and autonomy — you don’t need heavy direction to operate
- Python for data wrangling and pipeline building
- GenAI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Snowflake Cortex, GitHub Copilot)
- Gaming, casino, or sports betting industry experience
- Startup or consulting background
- Experience working alongside finance teams as a data practitioner
