Cloud Security Services is seeking a senior data analyst consultant to work with key business stakeholders to enable large scale reporting objectives through requirement definition, data mapping, and logic development. This is a 6-month remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Work with data owners and process owners to define reporting requirements
- Work with data owners and process owners to map data fields required for reporting
- Facilitate collaboration between reporting stakeholders to develop the reporting logic to meet business objectives
- Identify and document the opportunities to automate reporting
Required Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience as a data analyst in a technical setting with a data science background
- Ability to work with data and process owners to identify, collect, document and review reporting requirements
- Ability to document complex reporting needs and related data fields; strong understanding of business needs as it relates to reporting capabilities for a large enterprise
- Ability to document data flows with diagrams
- Ability to navigate the organizational structure of a large enterprise and facilitate discussions across domains
- Practical experience using business intelligence to solve business problems
- Knowledge of machine learning, data visualization, data mining, statistics, and complex reporting algorithms
- Knowledge of query structures and languages (i.e., Python, datahub, SQL)
- Hands-On Tableau Experience
- Ability to interpret and leverage existing documentation
- Excellent analytical skills
- Collaborative team worker – both in person and virtually using MS Teams or similar
- Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as liaison between business and information security / information technology
- Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English
