Level of the Role: Senior Data Analyst

Reporting to: VP of Finance

Years of experience: 5-7+

Language: English B2+

In this role, you will:

·       Lead the development of advanced Power BI dashboards and financial analytics.

·       Design and execute sophisticated analyses using SQL, Python and SQL Server.

·       Partner directly with the VP of Finance to define metrics and deliver actionable insights.

·       Mentor junior analysts and champion best practices in analytics and visualisation.

·       Oversee data quality and governance processes.


Selection Process:

·       Technical Assessment: Candidates will complete Aztia’s technical test covering SQL, Python and Power BI.

·       English Proficiency Test: Applicants should demonstrate at least a B2+ level of English; a C1 level is preferred.

·       Interview: Shortlisted candidates will meet with the VP of Finance and other stakeholders for a final evaluation.



Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

 

Mandatory Requirements:

·       5–7+ years of professional experience in data analytics or business intelligence.

·       Demonstrated expertise with Power BI modelling and visualization.

·       Deep proficiency in SQL, Python and SQL Server data extraction.

·       Proven experience with Power BI Embedded or embedding reports into applications.

·       Excellent English communication skills; strong B2 (upper-intermediate) minimum, C1 preferred.

·       Ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.

 

Nice to Have:

·       Experience with Azure Data Factory and visual ETL pipelines.

·       Expertise in Azure Data Lake Storage and big-data tools like Hadoop or Spark.

·       Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics.

·       Familiarity with Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance.

·       Advanced certifications in Azure data or Power BI are strongly preferred.
